What would you gentlemen say in your report about this connection for the thermostat control of a tankless water heater? It doesn't seem like the greatest idea, what with the gas and the water and all. Thanks in advance.
This red pipe is for the hot water line coming off the water heater then goes under the house. What kind of material is this? I wasnt aware of any kind of "plastic like" material that is safe for hot water supply.. But what the heck do I know..
What am I looking for when inspecting a well jet pump? I ran the water to get this pump going today, the pressure in the off mode was at about 40psi stayed steady while pump came on, shot up to about 60psi when it kicked off then went back to 40psi. Any suggestions? I know nothing about them..

Plus the improper slope of the line on the left. Somehow, both sinks are draining fine. Just doesnt look righ........
Can somebody please tell me what this black pipe is? Right below the faucet on the right-hand side? The house does have gas, but it's not a gas pipe is it? is it some kind of air gap to prevent water hammer? or am i way off base?
